Help: looking for info on oriental rug

    Hi everyone :)

    I'm hoping someone can help me learn about this rug. I would love to know anything about its style, origin, value, and age. It belonged to my grandmother, but I don't know anything about it. I'm curious if it is a unique style or if it just seems like a relatively generic, store bought rug. I'm planning on cleaning it, but I'm not sure how to untangle and clean the fringe trim that's pretty beat up. If anyone has any tips that would be great!

    how big..
    many persian rug stores i this are would know how to clean it..

    Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

    A beautiful rug! I would also put it in a low-traffic area, if it isn't already. Or even hang it, after cleaning?
