Featured Help needed: 925 Gold Wash Torches & Earring Parure

    Curious is anyone can help ID maker and age of this cool necklace and earrings.

    Necklace torches measure about 2” in length each. Earrings roughly 1-3/4”. Stamped 925 in many places including earring backs.

    Can't help with maker with only 925 marks. Only other clue for me is the lobster clasp...generally denotes more new.

    As @kyratango said, it is Indian. Although they look a bit like torches, the 'flames' are stylised mangos. Mangos stand for fertility and abundance, so they are often used in Indian jewellery.
    This would be called spike jewellery, although that is not an official name.

    The maker is one of a couple of thousand or many more Indian makers.;)
    Agree. This is probably 1980s-90s.
