Featured Help needed to decipher this cypher!

    hi - I have seen this on a silver cigarette box and I can't work out if it is just a nice decoration or a royal cypher of some sort. I have added on the photo all the hallmark that is on the box - if it helps. any info will be gladly received. thanks

    I see RTW (or some variation thereof). Not sure what it'd stand for, though. '900' is 90% silver purity. Not sure what the other mark is.

    Since the R is in the center, it probably ...

    I was being distracted while trying to write this post, so got delayed, but was just just about to say that the R probably goes last & may stand for Rex rather than part of the name & had just proposed Frederick Wilhelm to my conversation partner. Great confirmation kyra & sabre. :)

    that's a hard one. many old Prussian cities had a cross in their silvermark. Königsberg, Berlin, Elbing etc.
