Help on Glass Covered Jar - Curled Handle and Base

    Hello Board Friends - I saw this come up at auction and had the feeling I'd seen it before but have no luck remembering who might have produced it. It stands about 6 1/2" tall. The glass is thin with a slight ring. The stem is causing one of my brain cells to light up but I'm afraid the connection to the memory is a bit faulty. Any help on an identification would be much appreciated. Thank you!
