    Hi All
Yesterday in a second hand shop I saw a litho print by an artist named Eugene Von Ottenfeld..the litho entitled
"Raining Moonbeams" was signed 1929.However I couldn't get much info about this artist and whether his litho prints are worth collecting. Also the print is not numbered to indicate limited edition..the print can be seen below.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

I recognize this print and have seen several examples for sale over the years. In general, mass produced lithographs such as this are valued for their utility as decoration. They really do not have any value as original works of art. I think the valuation given in that second inquiry is ambitious..... maybe an insurance value. So much depends on how something like this is framed (The frame typically has more value than the print), the venue of sale, and location. It is the kind of thing I would typically expect to find priced under $50.00 at retail here in the Midwest if attractively framed.
