Featured Help, tall Lady figurines might be meissen?

    Lady on left looks ready to give him a whack with that sickle for being out late with the boys though ..

    Tricia, so sorry! Nobody answered your question! I certainly can't, as every piece of Meissen I've ever seen has been in a museum. Everythhing else seems to be disproved.

    I don't remember that Silver .. if that was his "thing" I would be okay with it, to each his-her own I say !!! ... Joy.

    Meissen is the most heavily copied mark in the china world. I think they are German,probably 1880s or so,but thats all a guess.

    I don't think the quality is there for Meissen. I agree with johnnycb09 on the origin and dating. There may be a mold number and/or manufacturer's code on the back.

    These are not Meissen.

    Is this a mark, or just a blip in the porcelain?

    And here it is compared to a clearer example of a Conta & Boehme mark:

    Also, the style of the pieces is consistent with Conta & Boehme.
