I bought a huge lot of all over gold porcelain, much of it is Pickard and some other marked stuff. But there are a dozen sherbets with saucers that are not marked at all and don't even have a pattern. Has anyone seen these before? The Saucer measures 6 1/2" D and the Sherbet measures 2 1/2" H and 4 1/8" D. Here are the pics. TY!

I know I'm wrong but it almost looks just like it was sprayed with gold colored paint.

When I saw the pics, I was thinking I should change from mostly glass selling to mostly porcelain. The pics are just so much easier. These took about a minute to do and another minute to load into my computer. I'd still be at it with glass.

I went through all of the other pieces in this set and found a lonely cream pitcher that was not painted on the base. It says B&Co. Limoges and Pickard. So it appears that Pickard decorated these items on Limoges white ware and covered over the marks on the bottom. The entire set included coffee pot, cream and sugar, a tray and all of the sherbets along with dessert plates. The lady like her gold apparently.

Sorry to bother you, but thanks for looking in.

    Those are amazing.
It seems like any use of the pieces would cause marks pretty quickly?

Yes, you would think so. But it appears that this person used these pieces a lot and they held up well. Probably because she didn't put them in the dishwasher. The sherbet cups are in great condition, while most of the saucers have light scratches and scuffs or rubs where the gold has worn off. The only pieces of this large lot that were damaged beyond help were the coffee pot and matching sugar which had the finials broken off. But she saved the finials in case I want to contemplate gluing them back on.

When I bought the stuff, I thought I'd be happy if half of it was in good shape. But most of it is good, except for the rubs.

But then, I also got a Limoges Pot de Cream Set in perfect condition, a gorgeous cut crystal bowl, and a Blenko decanter in the same group (plus some others). So not too bad.

Don't know if you're going to use or sell, but if going to use, I'd put little paper doilies on the saucers under the sherbets to prevent any further 'scuffing'!! Very pretty!!! AND GREAT images!!!!!!

That's a great idea! I intend to sell these, but I think they would look so much better with the doilies when I display them. Probably can get some at Michaels for not too much investment. I have a lady who visits my mall space regularly who loves the gold porcelain, esp. weeping gold. She'll flip over these. Thanks!
