    Hello all,

Need some help with these solid brass candle sticks, tea light assume.
Family past down treasure with no idea.
Can't find who FSP is and nothing close to these.
The pair weigh 1.066 kg / 2.35 lbs and stand 5.75" high.
    Appreciate any help. 20221004_182859.jpg 20221004_182807.jpg 20221004_182931.jpg 20221004_183001.jpg 20221004_183016.jpg 20221004_182944.jpg BRASS LADIES.jpg

FSP is likely the importer and India the country of origin. How long have these been in the family? The label and sticker look 1970s.

They wont be terribly old with that label. There are cases where a piece is machine made, but the final finishing is done by hand. Because that final work is done by hand (and it might be as minor as holding the piece while running it through a buffer), the piece gets marked as hand made.

I can't shed any light as to age. But I can tell you that Brass candlesticks are still a hot accessory for many and sell well.

I'm not certain but they passed in 2000 old age. They collected many things.

Not that you asked but... I don't think these would have any great value (beyond sentimental, of course.) Figural candleholders, Art Nouveau-inspired from the 2nd half 20th century. Here's what a genuine period candleholder would look like for comparison. Notice the level of detail.
