    A. Colomer. Looks like a watercolor but could be a print of one. I am finding a few others. Some are saying 70s, Spanish.

    Yes, tourist art. Skirt a little long for the 1970s. 1960s, I'd think. Don't know where that is but probably one of the Balearics because he produced some paintings of Palma de Mallorca. Perhaps someone else will recognize. And wow! Artist was really prolific; there's tons of his work around.

    ya....& that's likely the establishment year of the company who made the paper....
    nothing what so ever to do with the artwork !

    It looks like that is on the backing cardboard, stamped Knudsen. As komo said, it is the date of the foundation of the company, in this case either the framer or the company that manufactured the backing. It has nothing to do with the artwork.

    The name Knudsen is a Nordic name, so I guess it was framed in Scandinavia, although there are a few Scandinavian business owners in Spain.

    I've seen works of his framed by Boots (so assuming UK), Knudsen (so assuming Scandinavia) and Barcelona. Widely dispersed so supports tourist art assumption.
