HELP w/SIGNATURE ON 1963 MODERNIST PAINTING WITH GLAZE? OVER IT

Does anyone recognize the signature on this painting I found today at a local thrift store?
Is this called modernist, or mid century modern?
It has some kind of glaze that was coated over the painting - it didn't help in my opinion!

Well I finally was right about 1 painting! The larger modernist cityscape is by a listed Australian artist: Ernest Neuhold - not a factory painting!

 

Where is he listed, journey?

Isn't the signature is a dead on match?

I have trouble seeing the "same hand" doing the 'landscape' and the 'city-scape'.

 

That turned into a bit of an 'oh dear' thread, didn't it. But you weren't to know, you were just wondering if it was the same person.

Intentional damage or not, she doesn't need any more crap from this forum showing up in searches for her work.

Before I post this next piece, keep in mind that I believe "YOU CAN NOW OWN ORIGINAL PAINTING" is the entire marketing strategy of factory art.
