Help wit Painting by Bruce Eastman and frame re-mounting?

    Love the painting but I am not so fond of the frame or mat, especially since it slipped in the frame i think. And the fact that there is glass on an oil painting?
    The painting is 17" X 13" Frame is 27" x 23"
    Anyway i think this is the Locally famous Southwest painter?
    When I was searching in the store i found one in a gallery? asking $10,000.00 so I thought the cost of $6.00 was fair.
    I saw one sold on a site I am not a member Worthpoint.
