Help with 2 Asian Vases

    These two vases are coming up at a local auction next week. Just wondering if they are worth the trouble or not. The larger is about 24 inches tall. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

    First one is brand new. Second looks older, but I think it had a lid.

    Hi,
    I agree with OBB about the first one but i think the second is new also. That brown stain all over the bottom is a warning point for me. i agree that it should have a top.

    Yes, I wondered about that stain too - it's that deliberate look. The painting is decent on it, though.
