Hi everyone. Any information on these would be greatly appreciated. Such as when they were made and where. They're only 8 1/4" high, 9" including the handles. Thanks for any help at all.

Handles would suggest the Art Nouveau/Jugendstil period, but the screw head on the base is a bit crude. Triple check for any marks on the edges (upper and underside). No patination, so they could benefit from some polishing. Nice!

I would clean these but not polish per se. I think they have a nice if not heavy patina going.

Thank you for the advice. I usually just wipe brass clean. The bottom doesn't screw off either. Unless I'm just that weak. Lol.

    Thanks again

At first I thought they were artillery shells.

Funny you say that. My husband said they look like trench art, but he thought they're too small.

Those handles looks almost ‘amphora like’ to me. Also makes me think of Israel..

I would check more carefully about these being artillery shells. Here is a vase on Etsy and I see several online with two handles. Afte[IMG]
