    Hello
Not sure I'm in the right category but this seal is soapstone pretty sure.
    Made in Canada.
    Has a glaze over it.
    Weighs 15.4 oz, 6.25" long, 3.75" wide 2.5" high.
I don't know if it's Inuit and if the base is a signature? Looks like "A" ?
    Any help appreciated.

100% agree with the manufactured piece diagnosis - I think it is likely one of the cast plaster-like items rather than resin though; similar to the "WE" or "Wolf Enterprises" castings. These are basically plaster with a top-coat of resin to give gloss and durability.
The WE items are given a dusting of talc (powdered soapstone) to bring out the details; but I don't see that in this seal. Such items will fail a test for resin, but may seem to pass a test for soapstone.
    WE seal for comparison:

you dismiss my opinion , &
said u did the soapstone test.....& it seems like soapstone...
then if u did the test , I'm wrong and u must be right...

u mistake sarcasm .. for me defering to your hands on evaluation.....

but if u feel the need to take offence ..... & lash out at me ....and paint everyone here with the same brush..............

be my guest.............. & take a number

If it test as soapstone, the top surface appears to have air bubbles and soapstone does not have bubbles.
