Any help appreciated. I found this at a local thrift for 3.99 then found the exact one sold on Ebay for 2.00 so I already lost lol
    It is 1 3/4" wide.

I just looked several pages of lovely 19th Century Tunbridge Marquetry Boxes on Ebay- gorgeous stuff, all for 4150 and less.
Ebay's still glutting the market on some things.

?? Why are you talking about a box when the thread is about a piece of jewelry?

Are you sure those are black rhinestones and not marcasites?

Yes Marcasites. The other one was described as Sterling and Marcasite.

That was my murky point Mikey & Bakers.
I see amazing items on Ebay sell for $100-$200.Considering one could put in dozens/hundreds of hours picking-some of the 'lowball' prices can be frustrating if one's a Seller.
Someone here shared a beautiful 19th Cent Tunbridge -style box with Us. I thought 'Too pricey for me', then alas-I see a whole herd of them on Ebay for what I'd call cheap.
Good for Buyers but lousy for Sellers. Good generally for Buyers unless that is- You've been bit by MCM bug !
