    Hello all. I have this green pressed glass perfume bottle stopper and I was wondering if it was Czech and from the 1920's-30's. It has a "bulb" shape at the bottom of the dauber. It does not glow under black light. It is 5 inches long including the dauber. The top part on one side is frosted. I think it is beautiful. I wish I had the bottle that went with it. An image search was not particularly helpful. Thanks for looking and any information.

    Hey @Lizzie!! :happy::happy:

    A few years back a very respected member of the IPBA who is extremely knowledgeable in respect to Czechoslovakian perfume bottles had a seminar on how to pick up clues as to whether a bottle was period or modern. Her take on stoppers was to look at how the daube was attached to the stopper. The older period bottles had the daubers attached by a small "glob" of molten glass. The more modern stoppers were either done in the "stub" design where there was no glass dauber or the dauber was actually inserted into the bottom of the stopper.

    As far as I can tell from your photos yours appears to be a period stopper. :happy:
