Signed in three places but still can’t make out the artist. Anyone have a guess? Still torn if this is a professional or an amateur.

I have a theory on your painting. I believe it could have been painted by a lady named Eugenia M Turbow, however I have no documentation that she painted. She was living in Los Angeles in 1940 and I found her in the census. I suspect that your painting was influenced by the work of Harold Stephenson and being that they lived in relatively close proximity it only adds to the possibility. I have no doubt that the artist of your painting was a hobbyist, but a talented one. The signature is a dead give away, to obtrusive, and I think written in pen. Maybe a relative will run across this post and fill in the blanks.
