Found these 2 nude prints today at a thrift store - I think they are from France from the small writing at the top of them. They are pencil signed & numbered by the same artist but I can't make out the name. Does anyone recognize the artist?
    Thanks

nice nudes, but to keep any value they may have at all, you'll need to de-acidify the prints, as the mats have leeched so much acid into the paper as to render them practically worthless .....other than nice images..

Just one question -- where is she hiding the dog biscuits that cute puppy appears to be begging for?

Could this be this early - from early 1800's?

Your prints appear to have come from here. You'll have to run this French Wikipedia entry through Google Translate. Do know that it includes a list of artists the publication printed. Your artist likely Antoine Calbet.

I would say that your beautiful numbered pieces are from the original works by Antoine Calbet -- French 1860 - 1944. If you google him and search the images I'm certain you will find yours.

I hope this is of some help.
