I found this today at a thrift - the last Judaica painting I had took a few months to sell but it sold for a pretty penny & locally so I didn't have to worry about packing & shipping!
    I see Vauitenhilt?
Also any thoughts on it would be appreciated (please say it's not a factory painting w/a scribbled signature!)
    Thank you!

The striped garment he’s wearing looks the same in both portraits and the painting treatment of the hair and beard looks very similar too.

Both figures are wearing traditional tallit shawls. They are all pretty similar. The painting does have a factory feel to it and it seems to be on the cheapest canvas and stretcher.

The signatures seem significantly different to me.
