Help with Asian piece

    Looking for information on this strange bowl and holder. I believe this may be Asian. Court jester type figures holding a bowl. The bowl is two piece brass, lower portion of bowl is hand soldered to the larger top portion. Not my usual find, is it possibly a singing bowl? Any help is appreciated.

    I know I have seen this before and think it is a pretty good, known piece. For the life of me, I can't remember what it is. Any marks? Is it silverplate?

    No markings at all. The bowl may have had silver plating but 99% of it is gone.
