Help with bird pendant please

    Hello,

    This obviously is a necklace made out of bits and bobs... what I'm wondering is if anybody has any idea about the origin of the bird (is it a rooster or a chicken) ? Chinese, Mexican or neither ? No marks, but the bird & chain test as sterling.. Thank you, thank you ! :)

    I'd think Indian. But certainly looks like something from World Market.
