If anyone has any idea what these are and how old, I would love to hear. Thanks! IMG_4356.jpg IMG_4357.jpg

Not very and no real idea. My first guess would be African, but East rather than West.

The age may be answered best by a very close examination of the string, looking for wear, oxidation, discoloration, is it a modern or obsolete type of fiber layup, etc. I'd unstring it, laying out each bead in order so it can be reassembled as it was when your string study is complete.

    It looks like leather.
