Help with E. Leonard Jr. Oil on canvas

    I was hoping to get some more information on this artist before i go to sell this painting.
    Have seen one sold on Worthpoint, but i don't have an account to see what it sold for.
    This one is 12" x 16" Framed IS 17" X 21"

    Looks like a decorator piece. The yards are comically exaggerated, the pennant is inappropriate, it looks like a romanticised version of a grain or tea clipper and really good for a damp patch on the wall. I'd say it is mid to late 20th C.
