Help with Ethnicity and Age

Any ideas on ethnicity and approx age? Shaped like a runner but smaller like a doily. Black and white fringe on three sides. Primitive embroidery of kangaroos.

Will post more photos and measurement in next few days but wanted to get this started ... Thx.

 

It is very cute.
It could be commercially made. Ethnicity of the designer (maker?) is most likely Australian of non-specific European origin. I would say a 99.9% likelihood.
