I have been anxious about getting to the glass pieces in my grandfathers collection because they don’t even offer marks for guidance and they seem very overwhelming to sort out. I know nothing about glass, so all advice/tips/anything will be so helpful. I have tried to include more pictures in hopes they are helpful. Thank you. This is a creamer and sugar set, I believe. It was kept in my grandmothers China cabinet and I remember having to dust it as a kid.

Looks like lead crystal, very pretty!
I'm not familiar with the pattern, the tray appears to have the octagonal star cut into the bottom. Are other parts of it cut? What about the creamer and sugar?

@antidiem you will have to guide me to answer that one.

I think you are asking if the cream and sugar have an octagonal star. In which case, yes. They both do. How exactly do I know what is cut? The bottoms are included on both here as I realize I didn’t put them in the first time 9142007A-B577-4D15-B008-755CE36BB103.jpeg

Numerous glass cutters made a whirling star pattern. Perhaps @TallCakes will recognize the maker and date range.

Thanks, @TallCakes , I could see the stars on the video and went back to find one on the side of the creamer.
