Featured Help with hallmark or maker

    I think this is a vintage amethyst filigree sterling ring.
    There is an F on one side and S STER on the other.
    Any guesses on who made this and how old?

    No particular age on this one. It could be Indian, Thai, Chinese or ... no idea.

    I agree with evelyb on origin.
    Not particularly old. Last 10-20 years. I think the color has been enhanced.
    Still pretty and wearable.

    Very pretty. I agree, not very old, but not a clue about the maker. Could be Asian as the others said.
    It could be amethyst, but I don't know if it actually is. Maybe you can have the stone tested by a jeweller?
