Help With ID of Asian? Brass items

    I was hoping someone might know what these items are. They measure about 5" wide, way too big to be jewelry, and they have a bit of weight to them. Sorry for the poor photos, they're not as bright in person. Any help at all would be appreciated.

    Thanks Joy. Either name is fine. I've actually been a member for a while but haven't needed help until now. I tried ebay first but got no responses. It's pretty dead over there now. Then I remembered this site.
