I am new to the site so not sure if I am posting on correct location.
My father served in the RAF throughout the war and was posted mostly through Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Iraq, Egypt, and North Africa. In his possessions was a dagger (see pics). I was wondering if anyone would be able to help with identification and possible likely origin.

    Thanks

Rotate the sheath 90 degrees counter clockwise, someone may be able to read the words.

your dagger is definitely from middle/late 20th century and made for the tourist trade in Syria, probably around Damascus. It belongs to a large and diverse family of daggers made in Syria and in different shapes: some with curved and some with straight blade,
