Help with identifying 2 small daggers

Hello I purchased these daggers from an auction in the UK. The Teledo dagger is easy to find examples of but I'm not sure the age. Also I have seen some letter openers that Toledo make. The auctioneer said it was a 19th century dagger but it's not sharp at all. So I'm not sure if it's old or just a letter opener. Its very ornate for a letter opener. The other is definitely a military dagger. Very sharp and fuctional I just don't know how old and where it is from. There is no maker marks on the dirk. It has a rosewood handle and the mounting are silver. The blade is engraved. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Thank you

the one with the silver shield is indeed a killing weapon.....but that doesn't make it military unless it's marked as such...

Thank you for the help. The only thing that I have found that is close is a 19th century American Navy dirk for the silver dagger. I have not found any examples of the Teledo dagger.

 

The Toledo knife is missing the twisted wire on the handle.

 

I thought that it may be missing a wire.

 

The black with silver shield one makes me think of a boot knife.
