    My guess is Cambodia

The Warrior Princess looks much more defined than the other 3, as if the paint was applied a little less liberally. She almost seems inspired by the other three (w/ a little comic book fantasy thrown in). Is that just photo quality? Do they all have the same signature?

of all the nude or semi nude painting we encounter here........
this is by far the best I've seen......

I like the composition...her wading toward her dugout....prey caught....and confident in her ability as a provider and secure in her womanhood !

These look similar but that may not mean anything. They may look similar in many places where ear gauging is customary.

Going on @jsnggltt lead, I tried finding similar pipes/tools.

Sadly, I don't know enough about the area to discern, but these photos are variously described as photos of the Montagnard/Dega people, Dalat hill tribe, Ma People ... one photo may be described as all of the above on conflicting web pages. All Vietnamese tribes.

He was clearly marked Ma, but it was on Pinterest and I could not get to the origin site. I wanted to find out more because while I found many variations of this "over the shoulder" blade, this one (though it is hard to see) is the only one very much shaped like the painting.

May see if I can re-find today and break out of pinterest hell. :hilarious:

Well, I ended up down a research rabbit hole last night and while looking for a generic book on the "many tribes living in the mountains" discovered a publisher that has been (in the past 2-3 years) publishing a bunch of books on the textiles of various tribes/regions/peoples and now my "wishlist" on Amazon is about a gazillion books heavy.

And not kindle heavy, physical book heavy.

From the Wikipedia list of List of Birds of Vietnam, I found the Greylag Goose, but they are in too many places to be of any id help.

But of course, may not be the right bird. :bucktooth:
