I just picked up a few new antique Chinese items and this pair of large pottery was amongst my acquisitions. I'm having trouble finding any information about them though -- I think they are Chinese. They appear to be ceramic. They are pretty large --- could hold a small palm tree if I was using them as planters. Any help with identification, age, and value would be great! Everyone on this board is so knowledgeable -- thanks in advance. :)

Hi and welcome! They look like cloisonne. Could it be that they aren't pottery? Cloisonne is enamel over metal with small wires between the various colors.

I agree with s-i-s. The closest picture in particular says cloisonné to me.
