Help with initials on ceramic jug

    Hi all
    This jug has a gold painted inscription on the handle base…has anyone anyone seen this before?

    Im guessing blind here but it might be Asian ? The flower looks like an Iris,wich was a "thing" in the 1980s.

    Maybe that's what the characters say on the handle base! :)

    Should we understand that there are no markings on the bottom of the jug?

    I bet that was a hobby painter and those are their stylised initials.
