Help with Japanese porcelain plate identification

    We found this porcelain plate and need some help identifying the signature please and wondering if it’s worth anything?

    I have previously been informed that removal of hanger could be bad, perhaps I was misinformed

    It already has (lots of) chips from a hanger. You see the damage they can do.

    Personally Id leave it as is . That plate isnt particularly rare or valuable . Since its already chipped Id keep it as a hanging decoration .

    Look at ebay sold listings for geisha ware by clicking the Sold button on the left menu.
