    Hi all,
I bought this watercolor from a local thrift. "The Mayflower Steps"
With all her hand written notes on the back so someone could type up the page that was attached to the back of the frame.
All I can find so far is her bio.But no paintings. Said she specialized in sculptures. Maybe some expert googler's here may be able to find other paintings of hers?

I really like her handwritten parenthetical bottom left - "didn't row to Munich!"

Also funny that a teacher of 35 years forgot when the Mayflower departed England. ;):playful:

The biographical information you found appears to be inaccurate. She was born in Michigan. Served in the Women's Army Corp during World War II.

Yep. And her middle name comes from her mother who was a Christian Scientist.

Now I'm wondering how i can list this painting for resale. it is a quality piece, but from an artist with virtually no previous sales records. :banghead::dead::nailbiting:

Let me know when you decide to sell it. Cape Cod is celebrating the 400th anniversary of the Pilgrims landing here in 2020 and this would be a great addition to the Pilgrim Monument and Museum in Provincetown.

Well I think I've found just about all I'm going to so I will probably be listing it on Wednesday utilizing a ten day listing.

Yay! I got this watercolor in the mail - FINALLY. Mike has been very patient with my mail delivery woes and I can't thank him enough. It's even more beautiful in person. We'll be going up to Provincetown next Thursday to show it to the staff at the Pilgrim Monument & Museum. I'm sure they'll be thrilled to have it. :)
