Help me please. I cannot seem to find any information on the marks on the back of my sconces, supposedly they are French 19th C.
    Any information would be helpful.
(I am new and this is my first post so please be patient if I have done something wrong) 689-1 copy.jpg 689-7 copy.jpg

If the impressed VL is in Roman numerals, they stand for 45, but what that means here, I have no idea. I don't see anything written in French, so I have nothing more to add.
