Help with marks on a silver bracelet :-)

Hi, I have this bracelet, the seller's listing said it was Danecraft, didn’t show the marks and I didn’t ask - my bad!

Anyway, I emailed the seller asking why they listed it as Danecraft, they said it came with similar looking pieces marked Danecraft and they assumed. Well, I have had pieces with other flowers by Danecraft and very similar designs that were by more than a few other makers. This piece’s mark doesn't look familiar. Does anyone recognize the mark, or can tell me where to look?

I did try this on the ebay Jewelry Group but got no answers, I thought I would try the silver mavens here. As always, any and all suggestions are very much appreciated!

It is as large as it can be in the original post. I can try to get a closer in photo, maybe I will give that a try :)

I could zoom in on it with Firefox. I still couldn't make out the mark. Here it is enlarged. Maybe one of you can ID it.

A blocky looking C and a ... man's head facing right? Seeing it bigger doesn't help me. The figure on the right almost looks like a chess knight.

If it's a bird head facing left, would that be Portuguese?

OK, I tried shooting it through a magnifying glass, let's see how this works. It doesn't look much better to me :(

That's about the same as I thought, C and a chess knight.

    >bird head facing left, would that be Portuguese<

It could be a bird's head, but if Portuguese I don't think it would have the word "Sterling." Their sterling is noted by the number 916 on the bird cartouche or the common agreement between participating European countries of the convention mark: a scale with the number 925, I believe. Portuguese silver might also have "prata de lei" that translates to sterling silver in English.

When I 1st saw what might be??? a horse's head, chess knight, I thought of the Waldo Foundry of Bridgeport, CT; however, I doubt they did jewelry, their mark doesn't include that blocky C and their horse head doesn't look like this one. The only other suggestion might be a Native American mark. I looked through a couple of NA silver mark sites online as well as a quick thumbing of Wright's Hallmarks of the Southwest with no luck. If it was Mexican, it would have Mexican markings. I doubt this mark would be included on a silver mark websites for silverware, etc. It would probably be on a jewelry marks website.
