Help with matching davenports

    Hi I bought these davenport a today can anyone date them etc they have carvings under each drawer dovetailed etc and very heavy there identical and seems unusual to have a matching set

    I prefer "Writing Desk"
    The drawers look like an older and different wood to the first picture.
    The desks look almost new.

    Two matching pieces makes me think that they are from an assembly room such as a State Senate chamber, etc. As to actual age and authenticity, I have nothing.........
