Featured Help with mfr and description of Fruit Salad Set: necklace, earrings & brooch.

Hello, everyone. You all know jewelry isn't my thing but I'm learning from you folks here what to watch for. This is at one of the malls where I have a booth. Appears to be in good condition, is priced $25.00, would probably be 20% off if I were to inquire. I'd like to know what to watch for or particularly look at before I buy it. And of course I'd like to know the manufacturer. Looks like art or possibly art co.

I'm not sure how well Art does these days, but those bicolored stones with a green background are unusual. For $20 the set I'd have it out the door quickly.

 

The necklace does appear to be missing stones.

That's probably why it's $25; you can replace the little AB ones easily enough, but those greenies...nope.

 

I can't help either, but it's a very pretty set nicely offset by the black!!!! You other ladies quite often have better eyes than I, but I couldn't find any missing stones.....Obviously, that's just me.....

 

Oh, boy, thanks for noticing the missing stones. That's a deal killer right there, guess I was moving too quickly and not looking closely!

Most women don't tend to wear the clip earrings.
You could sacrifice an earring to fix the necklace.

Then sell the necklace and bracelet as a set.

OK, thanks @clutteredcloset49, I took those for just highly reflected yellow stones, not realizing they were well patterned, but you make more sense!!! Yikes!!!!

 

Don't throw out the good earring. You might be able to make it into a pin. We'll need to see the back.
And of course keep the dismantled earring for replacement pieces.
