Help with Mid-century panoramic photo - military?

    This is another thing I've had sitting waiting for some identifying or descriptive terms. Are these guys military, rangers, scouts or what? There's brass on collars but I don't see embroidered names or unit ID's on the shirts. Frame is 29" by 9½". I call it mid-century based on the hats and laced spats over their boots but I could be wayyyy off. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Mid-century as in 1950s-ish, Linda? I think World War I-ish would be closer to date. Like this.
