    Hello,

Could I please get some help in finding the origin (and maybe the age) for this bracelet? Not marked, test as sterling. Has some rattle beads inside.
Very grateful for any ideas ! Thank you :):)

I am going to say Moroccan Berber Tribal...@Any Jewelry might tell you it is Kuchi, however.:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:
Actually, many of these items are considered Turkmen (Any Jewelry;))I am glad that it is silver. I like it. I will leave the rest to the pros.

It has Buddhist symbols, so I would say a Buddhist country.:pompous: With those rattle beads, maybe tribal Chinese?

The problem with taking what a seller puts in their ad is, often it’s wrong. Either mistakenly or intentionally.
If you find information in an ad, it’s best to try to verify somewhere else. :)

That would be my guess too. They also mentioned Minorities, which is similar to tribal. Chinese tribal peoples have the official status of Minority, just like the Tibetans etc.
I will try to find out more.

:hilarious: Oh, Thank you! I didn’t understand the use of that word. I should have looked into it, but it was quite late last night. :sorry:

I don't see anything in this general style in your link at all.

I usually find that if I rely on my knowledge, I get a much better result than if I google "ANTIQUE TRIBAL SILVER JEWELRY ".
This bracelet is not antique, btw.

It is related, but not quite Tibetan, which is probably why you didn''t find it either. That spiral thing in a flower (lotus) is very Buddhist.
I'll see if I can find out more.:)

flipper, those are lovely bracelets, but none of them are anywhere near the general style of Xristina's bracelet.

    Xristina,
You don't HAVE to listen to the expert! You can listen to me and just be confused. However, I am trying to be helpful and (obviously) learning much along the way.:bag:

@flipper , we have had some very nice ethnic jewellery on Antiquers. Why don't you browse through some of the older threads and look at some of the styles? It is great fun and could help you to help others.:)
