Help with Porcelain barrel

    Hello all.
I have purchased this porcelain spirits barrel, it has a marker mark of archer in a shield. I think it’s by John Grinsell, but not 100 percent sure. I wondered if anyone could confirm this for me. I can’t find anything anywhere about it. I want to sell it at a fair I’m doing at the weekend but need to know how much it’s worth, or anything about it . I would greatly appreciate it.

    Welcome.
You may need to check back later. It's turkey day and many people may be with family.

The maker's mark probably belongs to the silversmith. I suspect it is silver plated.
The wine barrel will have been made by another company.

Any other marks on the bottom of the barrel?

If you go back to your original post there should be a "full image" button. Click that and your pictures will be bigger for people using their phones.
