help with porcelain mark, Russian ??

    First, welcome. Second, I'd guess continental Europe somewhere ... I've seen those porcelain flowers come from Czechoslovakia, Italy, and probably some others. Recent pieces came out of Japan and even China. Someone who actually knows porcelain might know the real answer. It may well have had a paper label that fell off somewhere along the line.

    That's Cyrillic, so Russian or Bulgarian then. The remains of the red mark looks USSR.

    Odds on Russian. The Bulgarians aren't known for fine porcelain, but the Russians made it even during the Soviet era.

    @janetpjohn has in the past posted a good link for looking up Russian porcelain marks. I think it's saved on my computer, but am using my phone now and haven't located it through a general Google search.

    The last word on the label, работа, means "work" and can also refer to titles of manufacturing works. So it doesn't help much. The first word is cut off but might be useful in determining who made it ... although perhaps might also be the name of an exporter or retailer.
