Hi I have acquired this ring in a lot of costume jewelry I purchased and wanting to know if old or just made to look old.There are no hallmarks or makers marks marks.

 

It looks better made than the average piece of costume jewellery. Colour wise the stones look most like jade and coral, the white stones don't look like diamond and could be many things. The ring could also be gold. The only way you will know though is to have it tested - it isn't possible to make a positive id from a photo, there are many simulants and look-a-likes. Take it to a jewellers, it does look worthy of checking.

 

I bet that's from Hong Kong and 80s ish. I agree it needs checking out.

Could be a decade earlier. And I agree, have it tested.
The jade and coral look real, a bit like Swoboda Jewelry, which is often gold plated with semi-precious stones like jade and pink coral.

Swoboda is a US jewellery brand name. They used the jade-coral combination a lot.

I think it's an upside-down maker's mark; it looks like an old piece of gold-filled jewelry.

Seconded. The jade/coral combination was done in a lot of higher end costume jewelry at one point. There are no pictures of any marks inside, not that Swoboda marked everything.
