    Hi everyone!
I've had this item for a number of years and would love some help with reading the signature. Also, is this a drinking glass or a small vase? Is there a name for this shape? (Reminds me of a pilsner but not as tall.) Any ideas on age? It is 6 1/4" high and the rim is 2 1/2" in diameter. Any assistance with descriptives is also welcome. :) Thanks so much!

    That's a hard one.

Looks European to me, but I am only guessing.

If you rub a little cinnamon into the letters, something might show better.

I'd never heard of dwarf ale glasses or the wrythen decoroative style name, thanks!
And another thank you for the cinnamon trick, I'll give it a try when I have the chance.
It is made in two pieces, the foot is joined directly to the conical bowl.
I'm not seeing any but the tiniest few air bubbles in the glass and the clear color is pretty and bright. Any thoughts on age?
