HELP WITH SIGNATURE ON GOOD PAINTING OF NATIVE AMERICAN

I found this today at a local thrift store (along with a more amateurish one of 3 S American kids) - I think(?) it says J Reagan, but the last letters don't look like gan + there is nothing for an artist with that name - and whoever did this painting is good & has to have done more, right?
PS - Doesn't he look like the Indian who used to cry as people littered in a public service commercial many years ago?
Any help would be appreciated (as always!)

The first initial may be an "S"rather than J. But I can't make out most of the last name because of the glare. I see something more like Ramon (with a fancy o).
