Help with signature please

    IMG_1030.JPG IMG_1029.JPG IMG_1028.JPG IMG_1030.JPG IMG_1029.JPG IMG_1028.JPG Hi can anyone make out this signature? I don't know why I buy stuff I can't even read. Any suggestions would be great And also can you tell if that is 8/100 or 8/700. THANKS

    Hi,
    It is 8/100 remember the European 1 has that slant that makes it look like a 7.
    Lots of mistakes that way, the same with Z that look like a 2. That is why I use a little straight line in the center of 7s and Zs.

    The Belgian spelling of Bruges is Brugge

    I've been to Bruges many times and never saw this gate. I suspect since it looks like it was made of wood, it's long gone. I can't make out the last name, but it looks like '36.

    Hi Bev,
    I`ve been to Bruges numerous times by car and have not seen it.
    I think the one in the old picture was redesigned after getting raised to the ground in WWI and WWII.
    As you can also enter Bruges via the canal network, I think there are several locations named the Gatehouse.

    Here`s one near a canal just for pedestrians and cyclists.
