    Looks like an English Pointer Hunting dog.
    Is B.P possibly the artist's initials and the "Bark" something is the dog's name?

    I don't know WTF is going on. already the second time, sorry.

    the Hungarians marked and named military style in the olden days. family name before first name, so possibly Barkàts Pàl or else.
