Help with the marks on what I assume is an American coin silver spoon.

This one is a giving me trouble. I was attracted to the strange shape of the bowl (the middle spoon) and now I need to find out more. Looks like WG S*C. I don't believe its a William Gale mark but I could be wrong. Any help appreciated!

 

This looks like English silverplate to me, but I could be off on that.

 

We're going to need a better close up view of the marks - and horizontal instead of vertical.

 

Could be.It was found in a lot predominantly with American coin silver but there was a lemon fork from Denmark as well. In my experience the English plate marks are typically pictorial and meant to imitate real hallmarks. These do not seem to be imitating anything and aren't pictorial. They remind me more of American marks than anything I have seen but they certainly could be foreign. Hopefully someone can help.

 

Doesn't look like any US coin mark I have ever seen.

Awesome find thanks! Figures that the one I found most interesting (shape wise) in the lot isn’t even silver lol. Good thing I didn’t pay for it yet!

 

For future reference, that shape is often said to be an "egg spoon." Used to extract a soft boiled egg from its shell. I'm not certain that is always the case. That is what it says here - https://www.sterlingflatwarefashions.com/Utensils/Spoons.html
