    Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

I have moved on in my continual attempts to downsize to a whole lot of jewelry I have from various sources (relatives, thrifting, auctions, yard sales, etc.) and in taking a second glance at this ring today after a long time sitting in a drawer, I noticed the detail on the underside. It looks like some type of bird in the center. I assume the stones are red coral (?) and the only marks found on the band is a 925. Any help deciphering the marks, as well as the point of putting them on the underside is welcome. I recall an old Antique Road Show where they made a point of saying how unusual underside marking are, but that's all I remember. About 1" in diameter. Thanks in advance and hope all is well.

The front looks Native American, almost Zuni, but that back is really unusual. @Any Jewelry ?

the back could have been a cut down different piece of jewelry....
so artists use what's at hand when ever possible.....the way a painter uses the flip side of a used canvas......

    no, they eat shrimp
    that's why they are pink
    if they ate snakes
they would be multi colored and we would hate them..............
