Yet another find from my Mother-in-Law's things. This is an old wooden carving, and I'm guessing it's from the 50s. I'm curious what country it came from? I'm guessing Mexico, because I know she lived there for part of her childhood, and they would often go shop in Mexico. Or, was it bought here in the States? Or, another country perhaps? Unfortunately there are no markings of any kind. It measures 7 1/4 in tall, and the base is 1 1/2 in wide. It's made of a stained wood. If I want to do research on this, what is it called? Is there a name for these besides just "wooden carving?" IMG_5304.jpg IMG_5309.jpg IMG_5308.jpg

    Thanks for any info!!
